ICT Work - Towns for the Future

Last year, Mr Clarke's class did a term long project looking at different ways to make maps and what different kinds of maps are useful for. The end of the project saw the children re-designing an area of Taunton that has been identified as an area for development. They used Google Earth to locate the area, and the Google Sketchup to make 3D models of what they think should be built there. They placed the models onto the Google Earth with some very realistic and some very imaginative effects!
