In June, all pupils
at Trinity made a cut-out 'buddy' in support of the Make Poverty History
campaign. We took part in a project called 'Send my Friend to School'
where we decorated small paper representations of African children who
don't have the opportunity to go to school and live in extreme poverty.
Over 6000 schools and youth groups participated in the project and over
3 million buddies were collected to be presented to the World Leaders
in time for the G8 summit in July. To see how we added our voice to
millions of others, view the following powerpoint presentation.
