Tolerance is not only an important British value, it is the key to us weaving a rich tapestry of life in which to grow. At school, we want to celebrate our differences, finding out about each other's lives and cultures. Sometimes as humans, we make assumptions about the lives of others when we don't really know what's going on for someone. We want our children to be tolerant of others, but not only that: we want them to love their neighbours as they love themselves.
Below are some quotes and questions that we have been discussing in Collective Worship.
