Trizone - Before and After School Childcare Bubble Arrangements:
Our normal variety of after-school activities will not be able to run in the autumn term. Extended childcare is very difficult to manage in the current circumstances, however we know how vital this is for some of our parents.
We will be running Trizone for a maximum of 30 children at the beginning and end of the day. Morning Trizone will be available from 8.00am and after-school care will be available until 5.30pm.
Children from different bubbles will be looked after by staff in the same space, but we will be running it in a socially distanced way to ensure the integrity of our other measures. For example, we will use the large hall and children given their own table or tables with children from their own year group at which to work, colour, play etc. We will provide engaging educational films for the children to enjoy during this time, to help the children to focus on staying within their own space.
During the longer after-school session, children from the same year groups will be taken outside for two sessions to have a break before returning to the hall. There will be a smaller selection of food items available from the autumn term, with all food being prepared following government guidelines.
Those of you who are reliant on this wraparound care will be anxious to ensure that your child has a space. We are not anticipating that we will need to turn anyone away from this provision and should numbers be higher than the maximum of 30, we will look to how we can run more than one provision in different spaces instead.
